Almost a family of four....

Well, I've got roughly 3 weeks left until my due date and I guess I am as ready as I'll ever be. I honostly think that there really isn't any way to be fully prepared when it comes to children. It's all so unpredicatable. Carter will be 2 on the 20th of this month and with the arrival of his 2nd birthday, he is also sporting an entirely new little attitude. Unfortunately, it's not in a particularly good way. Every answer he gives always has a feisty little "No."! He has been hitting a lot and throwing mini-tantrums left and right. He still has moments of sweetness, but overall, he is definately more moody than ever before. We have tried the time-out scenario, but it really hasn't done anything. And yes I know, be persistent. It's just hard when you are almost 9 months pregnant to really stick to any kind of punishment. It just reqiures way to much effort. So, until further notice, beware of my cranky child!
On a different note, I have been seriously struggling to find a name for our only girl and last child. Keven say's he likes all the names I've shown him and he wants me just to pick one. Yeah, that sounds easy, but I am really stuck! I think I have let the idea that 1: this is our last baby and 2:It's a girl, really take over my brain. As for right now, she is nameless. Maybe when we meet her for the first time, it might just come to me! It's not really like me to be like that, but at this point, I'll take it however it comes. Anyway, here are a few pictures from the last month or so.

Oh, Angie, I am so excited for you guys!! This will be so nice to have your fourth member of the family on the outside! Names are not easy to choose but it will come to you, especially when you are holding that baby and loving her, she will just start to look like one of those names you love or who knows, a whole different name that you haven't thought about yet. As for Carter, the two year old attitude is soooo normal, not liked by parents, but so normal. Just keep on doing what you are doing, he will all of a sudden, one day be a little man but he just has to figure out for himself now, what that is. As long as he knows what is acceptable to you and what is not, he will build himself and his personality around those guidelines. Don't worry about trying to keep up while pregnant either, these things have a good way of balancing themselves out. He will see that new baby and have moments of jealousy, love and just not knowing for sure what to think, but if you involve him in helping with the little stuff for her, he will become a different kid a lot of the time for you. It is sooo close, just know that we are all trying to offer strength even though it feels far away too often. Have a wonderful day! Oh and have you ever heard the song, "Two Year Old Attitude" by Ryan Shupe and the Rubberband, I had to get it when Makenna was going through the worst of it, it helped me laugh when I wanted to scream and Makenna would actually shut up long enough to listen and dance with it.
