Carter 19 months

Carter is getting so tall I can hardly believe it. He fits perfectly into size 24 months clothes, give or take a few things. He is just growing like a weed! A few of the things that Carter is most interested in lately is being outside! He loves, loves, loves it!! Everytime we have to come back in, he cries and throws a little fit. He likes to play on his little slide and chase the cat around the yard. He also loves when his Gramma Honey comes and takes him to play at her house. He adores my mom! Carter is a great sleeper! He sleeps from about 8 to 8 every night. He usually naps once during the day, somedays he doesn't nap and that makes for a very looonnnggg day. He loves attention. If he doesn't get it when he wants it, he will do what it takes until we are paying attention to him! He loves when his daddy plays on the floor with him, especially when he get's to ride on his back! Carter is also starting to play "pretend" with his toys and other objects. It's really cute to watch and to hear the noises he makes. Some of the words he can say are dada, mama, ball, nana (banana), chichur (nature), uh-oh, achoo, eye, poo-poo and baby. He tries to imitate a lot of what we say, but those are the definate words. He still just has 8 teeth, so we still give him baby food, but we do give him a lot of grown-up food. Some of his favorites are grilled cheese, cheerios, pears, cheese crackers, chips, teddy grams, mashed potatoes, burritos, and chocolate chips. Carter loves music! His favorite song right now is Michael Buble's "Haven't Met You Yet". Everytime it gets to the end of it, he claps, points to the cd player and we start it all over. He likes dancing to all kinds of music, and will always start moving his head and body when he hears music. Carter is usually a good listener. He listens especially well if we ask him to bring us something. We are trying to prepare him for when the baby is born. He loves when he sees other babies, so that is hopeful. He is our little on the move boy and we just love him!!
